Lower invoice payment times

Running a business has many moving parts. The more you can automate, the more it frees you up to address higher level and strategic problems of your business. This is a newsletter about automating aspects of your business.
Problem
It's the year 2020, and services that you use are still sending PDF invoices as attachments over email.
And every month, you dread searching through your email to piecemeal download and process your invoices. This is a gigantic waste of time.
Automation
Instead, you should set up an automation workflow that
- Detects whether an email is an invoice with a PDF attachment
- Downloads the invoice PDF
- Uploads the invoice to a folder in your Dropbox for the appropriate month
Then at the end of the month, you have all the invoices you need to pay all in one place!
Here's how you can build this automation workflow in Zapier below (or use the pre-built Zap I already built for you).
To simplify the detection of whether an email is an invoice or not, I opted to require you to label the email as an invoice. After the email is labeled, the Zap will fire and all your invoices will be gathered in one place!

At the end of every month, you can process your invoices all in one place without having to hunt and peck through your emails for them.
